Viscose twills are gorgeous light-weight fabrics that are soft and drape well.
The fabric is woven in such a way that it has diagonal lines across it and this means the fabric is called a twill. This makes it feel slightly heavier than a standard viscose.
Viscose hangs beautifully making it ideal for dressmaking. The fabric is made from wood pulp and therefore the natural fibres will keep you cool on hot days and warm when it is cooler.
It is suitable for a wide range of dressmaking projects that require drape such as dresses, skirts, tunics, blouses and loose fitting trousers.
