Sew a Christmas stocking suitable for all ages that will look amazing hanging in front of your fireplace ready for Santa’s presents.

The stocking is fully lined, padded and has attractive appliqued heel and toe accents.  It also features a ribbon loop for hanging. Once you have made one for yourself, it will be hard not to sew plenty more for your friends and family.

Finished Size: Length – 45cm (18″), Width across top – 20cm (8″)

This sewing pattern has been tried and tested in many of our workshops and we are delighted to be able to offer the pattern to all of our customers.

When purchasing this pattern you will be sent two links for two 4 page pdf documents that can be downloaded and printed.  The documents contains detailed sewing instructions together with colour photographs to enhance the written instructions.  Please note that the pattern does not include pattern pieces, but gives the sizes for each panel.

For ease of sewing we recommend stable cotton fabrics

 

Requirements (these are available to purchase in our shop or via our website):

Fabric A (outer) – 0.5m x 112cm/42” wide cotton fabric

Fabric B (lining) – 0.5m x 112cm/42” wide cotton fabric

Fabric C (toes, heels and cuffs) – fat quarter (50cm x 55cm / 20” x 22”) of cotton fabric

Steam-A-Seam – 25cm x 30cm

Fusible Fleece/Wadding – 40cm x 75cm

Thread – this will be visible on applique

Ribbon – 20cm
