Our Allegra wool blend fabric is a gorgeous medium weight fabric. It is lighter in weight than a boiled wool although it still has the same classic felt-like texture. The fabric is softer than a boiled wool and drapes well.
It is perfect for keeping warm and is ideal for sewing coats, jackets, capes, skirts, pinafores and hats (berets). It is also great for bag and soft furnishing projects.

Care Instructions:
A gentle cold-to-lukewarm bath (an actual bath would be good where it can spread out and not need moving about much) with a specific wool wash. Avoid agitation or wringing. Carefully rinse and roll and press in a towel to remove excess water. We strongly recommend testing a small piece first to be sure.
The fabric may also be dry-cleaned.
Although we have tried to describe and photograph the colours as accurately as possible, please note that there may be some colour variation when viewing it on different screens. We include spools of Gutermann Sew-All polyester thread in the photos to demonstrate pattern size on printed fabrics.

The fabric is sold per half metre, therefore when ordering:
For 0.5m type 1 in the quantity box;
For 1m type 2 in the quantity box;
For 1.5m type 3 in the quantity box; etc
The fabric will be shipped in one continuous piece.
